Maurice had another fantastic year with Don Diarado – including the Nations Cup Final in Barcelona and a spectacular finish to the year: the Global Champions Tour Playoffs in Prague. Maurice and Don Diarado truly excelled. Three flawless clear rounds in incredibly challenging courses, competing against the crème de la crème of international show jumping. It was incredible!
Justine also had a very exciting year: a forced break after a fall in May, acceptance into the Young Riders Academy, and a magnificent title win on Light Star at the German Young Riders Championships in September. Fantastic!
Almost simultaneously with the playoffs in Prague, one of our Don Diarado offspring was awarded premium stallion status in Oldenburg. Overall, breeding in 2019 was simply outstanding. The collaboration with breeders is working wonderfully, and since autumn 2019, we’ve had another top-class breeding expert, Christoph Bauer, on our team as a contact person.
Champion stallion, reserve champion, and premium dressage stallion in Redefin – you couldn’t ask for a better start to the licensing season. The success continued with the ponies: Maurice sired the champion stallion at the Westphalian riding pony licensing!
We opened our stud farm in 2012, and eight years later, I’m almost amazed at how quickly and optimally everything has developed. We are absolutely convinced that our stallion roster is first-class and very diverse, and next year we will also be offering three exceptional dressage stallions to our breeders. We are looking forward to the 2020 breeding season!
In February of this year, we kicked off the year with a very successful and lively stallion show, and we plan to do something similar next year: Our next breeding highlight will be our stallion show on February 16th, starting at 2:00 pm in Vechta. (More information: rene-tebbel.de)
