90 foals, truly excellent foals, many very interested breeders, and at least on the first day, perfect weather; the second was unfortunately rained out. We had two very interesting and successful foal days here in Emsbüren.
Rain or shine, the grounds looked fantastic, bordered with flowers, and the foals and mares were able to present themselves superbly. The first crops of offspring from our two stallions, For the Future and Don Tryon, were present. It was really exciting, and we are very pleased with the foals. Overall, it was striking how well even the so-called jumping foals moved. This speaks to our philosophy that every horse needs good movement and sound basic gaits.
We couldn’t resist two foals and bought them: one offspring by Follow Him’s Schönweide and one by Dia Corrado. We weren’t the only buyers; several foals changed hands during those days.
Following the incredible demand from breeders and the very good covering figures this year, we have also decided to further enhance our foal shows next year. We want to offer a completely perfect and even more meaningful ‘stage’ for the foals and, in doing so, thank our breeders for their years of loyalty and first-class cooperation.
