Giljandro van den Bosrand

Profile:
Five-star athlete with Olympic experience
He has it all: first-class genes and sporting achievements. The Belgian stallion Giljandro van den Bosrand celebrated his first successes at the five-star level under Henrik von Eckermann and René Tebbel. In 2016, the then 20-year-old Czech rider Anna Kellnerová took over the powerful chestnut and seamlessly continued his five-star successes. The pair won their first five-star start in St. Moritz, followed by victories in Paderborn and Liège. A year later, Kellnerová and Giljandro participated in the world's largest show jumping series, the Global Champions Tour (GCT). They were part of the Berlin Lions team in the Global Champions League and achieved top-three placings at the GCT qualifiers in Mexico City, Shanghai, Hamburg, and Valkenswaard. In Qatar, they once again stood atop the podium. In 2018, the Prague Lions team was delighted to have the successful support of this top international pair. Giljandro van den Bosrand has proven that he is not only a top athlete, but also an extremely reliable partner on the toughest tracks in the world – equally easy to handle for experienced track professionals as well as for up-and-coming young female riders.
