You are currently viewing First the pony licensing, then the German Championship

Last weekend we were at the Westphalian Pony Licensing. Maurice presented his handsome, colorful chestnut colt by FS Mr. Right x Pilgrim’s Red. He presented himself superbly and was licensed. Fantastic!
Back home, we’ve already started looking at the yearlings: how they’ve developed, how they look, and how they move. This has given us a first impression, and we’ll of course continue to observe them and then decide next year which path each one should take. We’ve also completely dewormed and vaccinated our youngsters, so they can start the new year healthy and well-cared for.
For Justine and Maurice, the International German Championships begin tomorrow in Riesenbeck. Justine is competing in the women’s division, which qualifies for the final via the international two-star tour, and Maurice is competing in the men’s division in the three-star tour. Both are also taking young horses with them for the international Youngster Tour. We think it’s fantastic that the German Championship can go ahead at all – it will be even better if it goes well. So: fingers crossed 🙂
