We were already convinced of his potential, and now it’s official: The four-year-old Follow Him’s Schönweide, by Follow Me x Sir Donnerhall, has passed his 50-day test in Schlieckau with a weighted dressage-oriented final score of 8.51. Fantastic! He never scored below 8 in any evaluation, neither during the test nor in training. His outstanding basic gaits were awarded 8.5 for both trot and canter, and a perfect 9 for walk. The trot was praised in the commentary as “possessed with a great deal of impulsion” and a “hind leg that knows how to move.” The canter was described as “characterized by a very clear uphill tendency and jumping far under the body,” and the walk was regular with excellent reach. “Rhythm, diligence, reach, and secure movement through the body – this stallion clearly masters all these criteria,” the commentary concluded. The verdict: “A stallion for the future!”
Follow Him’s Schönweide has already had a truly exceptional first foal crop.
