Presumed winner of the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio

Under jockey Pedro Veniss, this exceptional stallion confidently completed all show jumping classes in Rio and finished 16th at the 2016 Olympic Games. To cap off the year, Quabri de L'isle won the CSI***** (1.60 m) in Geneva.

Kannan's sire carried the blood of all the important European show jumping sires: Voltaire, Furioso, Nimmerdor, Gotthard, Fern, and Le Mexico – all great pioneers of modern show jumping breeding. Kannan is clearly a product of his genes. He himself was also known for his great sporting successes. Kannan won the Grand Prix of Deauville and, in 2004, the show jumping competitions in Bercy and Jardy (Paris), as well as numerous other events. He was a regular member of the French team that won the Samsung Super League in 2003 and 2004.
