This exceptionally impressive chestnut stallion combines charisma, presence, and athletic potential at the highest level. James Deam, who bears a famous name, impressed as a finalist, Ib premium, and first reserve champion stallion at the 2026 DSP Stallion Days in Munich-Riem, making a strong statement in the licensing group. In charisma, elegance, and natural charm, he is every bit as good as his famous namesake. His three gaits are consistently of the highest quality and always strive for perfection. "Virtually unsurpassed in power and mechanics," "a brilliant walk, an immensely active hind end, and great expressiveness" were the words of praise from the licensing commission. His overall impression is rounded off by an exemplary temperament: absolute composure, a pronounced willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
Juwel's sire was awarded premium stallion status at the Westphalian licensing in Münster-Handorf in 2021. Since then, he has won numerous Medium (M) level dressage competitions and was a finalist at the German National Championships for six-year-old dressage horses in 2025. His dam's sire, Vitalis, was reserve champion of the North Rhine-Westphalia licensing in 2009 and placed at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden in 2012 and 2013. In 2016, he was named "Stallion of the Year" at the World Championships for Young Horses in Ermelo, Netherlands, and won the Nuremberg Burgpokal Final in Frankfurt. To date, he has sired approximately 100 licensed sons in Germany, including champion and premium stallions, as well as several German National Champions. In the third generation, the groundbreaking Weltmeyer (licensing champion 1986, Bundeschampion and performance test winner 1987, DLG winner 1988, Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 1998) is a suitable dam, related to the Bolero-Spohn Archer. James Dean represents the traditional dam line of Nachmahd, which originates from the Lüneburg Elbmoor. This line has produced twelve licensed stallions, including Der Warkant and Royal Nymphenburg (Oldenburg State Stud), the renowned show jumping sire and DLG champion stallion Firnis and Wittekind (Celle State Stud), Segreto (State Stud USA), Volkonsky (State Stud Russia), as well as the internationally successful dressage horse Gilbert 1/Hans-Jörg Kaltenböck and the successful jumping show horse Lancade 10/Jörne Sprehe.
