A great loss for breeding and sport.

The exceptional stallion, who sadly died far too young, lives on in his offspring. Of his 175 offspring registered in sport, 22 are successful up to and beyond the S*** level. Nine licensed sons and 46 registered broodmares carry his performance genes.

Los Angeles impressed at the 19th NRW Main Licensing with his exceptional jumping ability, tremendous power, outstanding bascule, composition, and precise leg technique. He possessed three very good gaits, including an outstanding canter. His high intelligence and impeccable character prompted the licensing director to offer effusive praise. Los Angeles, he declared, is the modern show jumping stallion we desperately need. The audience unanimously agreed, and the son of Light on OLD received thunderous applause for all his powerful jumping feats.

The stallion San Brasil by Sao Paulo is a direct descendant of the dam St.Pr.St. Annabelle; from his direct, performance-oriented dam line come further licensed sons (e.g. Barring by Bariton, Why not by Wolkentanz) and highly successful show jumping horses of the S-class (e.g. Addy the Eagle, Arenzano by Argentinus, Grande Girl by Gepard, Piaffe by Pilot, Bayard and Barina by Bariton) as well as dressage horses (e.g. Luthery by Londonderry, Brown Sugar and Bolero by Baritone, Piazza by Paradiso).

His offspring made him the main prize winner in 2012.

Los Angeles has completed an excellent 30-day test with the following results: Willingness to perform: 9.0 / Jumping ability – free jumping: 10.0 / Canter: 9.0 and Temperament: 8.88

In his first tournament, he achieved his first victory with an outstanding round of 8.5.

In Klein Roscharden, he won the qualification for the 2013 Bundeschampionat with a score of 9.0. These were unfortunately his only two tournament appearances before his death.
