For the Future

Profile:

Following his international success last year with Justine Tebbel, For the Future once again impressed with his enormous talent. After celebrating successes on the Youngster Tour with Maurice Tebbel in previous years, this descendant of the legendary For Pleasure is truly living up to his name.
He leaves his mark on his foals; his athletic and elegant offspring have been honored with prizes and awards. His progeny have flocked to the auction platforms of breeding associations throughout Germany and achieved top prices.
For the Future passed his sporting test in Münster-Handorf with the highest score of 10.0 for his ability and 9.2 for his behavior and rideability.
For the Future completed his 14-day test in Adelheidsdorf with a jumping-oriented final score of 9.23. He received a score of 9.5 for character, willingness to perform and free jumping, and his rideability was rated at 9.0.
Undisputed champion stallion of the 2018 Westphalian licensing in Münster-Handorf in show jumping. With his well-proportioned, correct conformation, he possesses natural elasticity and exceptional jumping talent. He leaps from the ground with phenomenal power; the height and width of the obstacles seem irrelevant to him, he consistently displays an ideal bascule, consistently first-class leg technique, and lightning-fast reflexes.
The pedigree reads like a firework display of international show jumping genetics: sire For Pleasure was German Champion, Olympic team gold medalist, European team gold medalist, and won Grand Prix, Nations Cup, and World Cup show jumping. As a sire, he currently holds third place in the WBFSH world rankings and has sired 193 offspring in Germany alone, all of whom have achieved success at the S-level (very good). The dam is the influential French stallion Nabab de Rêve, who proved his qualities in sport and produced equally successful offspring. Nabab de Rêve was part of the team that won the bronze medal under Philippe Lejeune at the 2002 World Equestrian Games in Jerez. His son Vigo d'Arsouilles helped Philippe Lejeune win the World Championship title in show jumping in Kentucky in 2010. The Holsteiner grey stallion Cassini II, in the third generation, boasts offspring with prize money totaling €1.35 million. 193 of his offspring achieved success at the S-level (advanced level), and 42 of his sons were licensed stallions.
In the fourth generation is the Dutch stallion Jasper, known in Germany under the sport name Little One, who, ridden by Hugo Simon (AUT), won, among other things, the German Jumping Derby in Hamburg-Klein Flottbek. The great Hanoverian Fürst Ferdinand, full brother of four internationally successful show jumpers, appears in the fifth generation. He was used extensively by the Snoek and Schockemöhle families and later became one of the foundation stallions of the world-class Zangersheide stud farm. The dam line is of Dutch origin and has produced numerous performance horses for international competitions.
