Smart Choice comes from a very high-performing and proven dam line that has produced numerous licensed stallions and internationally successful dressage horses up to Grand Prix level over generations. His direct dam line includes, among others, the licensed stallions Light of Londonderry (successful in international Grand Prix), Boney M (international PSG/Inter I dressage), First Finest (advanced dressage), Surealo (medium dressage), and Go for Gold (1.30m show jumping).

The line is also exceptionally diverse in terms of sporting achievements, with Grand Prix and S-Level successful offspring such as Homer 33, Fairytopia 4, Dunhill B 4, Holly Golightly 19, Fashion Victim B or Zodiac B.
