Kartal’s Emerald

Profile:

Kartal's Emerald scored 8.62 points, placing him among the top 3 in his short-term show jumping suitability test in Vechta 2025. His canter and rideability were rated 8.6 points, while his jumping ability and willingness to perform were outstanding, repeatedly highlighted, and each awarded 9.0 points, which was also the highest score of the day in both areas.
Kartals Emerald's first foal crop has been a resounding success. His offspring are highly modern, typical, and expressive, demonstrating exceptional quality and athletic potential. They impressively confirm the great breeding potential of this extraordinary young stallion.
Kartal's Emerald makes his family proud; with the utmost dedication and joy in his daily work, we see a positive future for this stallion.
The sire, Emerald van het Ruytershof, won silver at the World Championships for Young Show Jumping Horses at the age of six, finished second in the World Cup Final in Gothenburg, and was part of the Dutch Olympic team in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 under Harrie Smolders. The dam, Bella Donna, was the successful mare of Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum. She achieved success in World Cup show jumping and Nations Cup competitions and participated in the 2012 London Olympics at just nine years old. The dam's sire, Baldini II, was also successful up to the advanced level and known for his exceptional ambition. The paternal grandsire, Diamant de Semilly, won several championship medals for France and, besides Emerald, sired many other offspring destined for the highest international stage.
Kartal's Emerald combines the genes for success from all directions and across generations. With his four white boots and distinctive blaze, he has unmistakably inherited the features of his father, Emerald. Success is a family affair – that's exactly what Kartal's Emerald stands for.
