Standing at 1.43 meters tall, with a light palomino coat, and strikingly beautiful, yesterday he was crowned champion riding pony stallion at the Westphalian licensing: The HET Golden Dream son, out of an FS Cocky Dundee dam, is a real head-turner! Maurice bought the handsome pony dressage stallion as a foal at the Westphalian auction. “Working with ponies is incredibly fun and a nice change from horses. And while this pony stallion was a bit small, he was always a great type with really good movement.”
Even as a foal, this exceptional youngster had impressed, winning the foal show in Vornholz in 2017.
Just four weeks before the licensing, Maurice took the HET Golden Dream son out of the paddock and prepared him for the inspection. “Everything went completely smoothly with him.” Interest in this radiant youngster was enormous, and now he’s been sold. “He will stay in Germany and when the new owners have decided whether he will breed or not, we will definitely announce it here,” explains Maurice, because an incredible number of pony breeders have already inquired.
