NOMINATED FOR TOKYO🇯🇵😍🌟✈️
Yesterday, a lifelong dream came true, as Don Diarado and Maurice were named to the German show jumping team for this year’s Olympic Games in Tokyo. A dream they’ve been working hard towards for months, and now it’s a reality💫
Our pride in the two of them is almost beyond words. However, the joy over their nomination is somewhat diminished by the fact that while Maurice and Doni will be competing for a team medal in the Nations Cup, they are not eligible to start in the individual competition.
It’s not every day you have an Olympic horse in your stable, nor an owner who walks this path with you, provides support, and cares for the horse for its rider all these years. That makes it all the more wonderful to be able to experience this potentially once-in-a-lifetime sporting highlight in its entirety.
While we will of course accept this decision, Don Diarado and Maurice will give their all for the German team. We wish him and his teammates all the best! 🍀🙏🏼
