The playoffs in Prague and Maurice and Don Diarado outdid themselves! It started with a superb clear round for their team, the Cannes Stars, on Thursday. It continued with an equally confident clear round in the 1.60m GCL team jumping competition on Friday. And it culminated in the very tough final of the best GCL teams on Sunday: another fantastic clear round and a round with only one rail down. In every jumping competition, Don Diarado was the best of his team; overall, Maurice and Don Diarado were one of the best pairs of all the teams. What an incredible achievement! The jumping competitions were really difficult, the atmosphere was huge, and the competition was fierce, but the two of them kept their cool and demonstrated their exceptional class – I am incredibly proud of Maurice and this Diarado son, who is only ten years old.
At the stallion licensing in Oldenburg, one of our Don Diarado offspring also just made a splash as a premium stallion. It was simply a brilliant weekend, and tomorrow it continues with the licensing in Westphalia. We’re back again, and once again with a first-class Don Diarado son. It remains exciting…
