Saturday evening, the Sports Ball in Wiesbaden, was exactly as expected – a mega event!
The entire event was top-notch from start to finish, and there were tons of celebrities in attendance. I think it was simply fantastic for the entire equestrian sport.
It was great that we were able to rehearse twice. Marcus (Ehning) also arrived on Friday, so we could calmly discuss how our presentation should go. It was all really fun. We rode together, and Marcus was super relaxed and easygoing, as always. Light Star was even more relaxed on the gala evening itself than during rehearsals. He can sometimes get flustered, but he obviously loved the gala guests. He did a really great job!
The feedback was also overwhelmingly positive. I think people were truly enthusiastic, also because the various disciplines of equestrian sport were showcased.
I’m sure: This evening was important and very, very good for our sport.
For me, the weekend continues in Damme, and then on February 16th our big stallion show is already on the program.
